Quick fourth dimension player keeps truncating my recordings? I will do a screen recording with sound and only a fraction is recorded OR a portion is truncated from the middle of the recording? Does anyone else have this issue? What are some alternatives to Quicktime for Mac that are piece of cake to apply. I want to tape my screen and accept my movie in the corner to discuss what'southward on screen. Help Please!

I can not understand why people charge per unit this software so bad. Sure am glad that I kept QuickTime Actor 7.6.vi on my new MacBook Pro with equally new Apple external display. QTPlayer vii.6.6 lets me do what QT Actor ten.one will not: play movies on my secondary screen. Incredible blunder on the office of Apple devs to create a QT Player that volition NOT play movies on a secondary screen. Gee, thanks guys!

The installer for Os 10.7 Lion no longer offers an optional QuickTime 7 installation. So I crossed my fingers and downloaded this, just the QT vii.vii installer wouldn't allow information technology to install in Lion, and the .mpkg installer won't even let looking int3o it. Does anyone know another manner to install a version of QT that will work in Lion — and where to find it?

It wasn't designed to take the same precise control of other standalone software; and its editing controls are imprecise at best. Perhaps the main flaw comes from the fact that VLCPlayer offers a more comprehensive playback package - for free.
My Software Update told me yesterday that there was new Quicktime software available... And then I allow information technology install. It says it's 7.6.ix. I'thousand dislocated. I'm on a G5 OS X 10.5.8.

No more Quicktime for us G5 folks, I guess. I'm curious if anyone knows how many working Mac computers out in that location are still PPC? What's the percentage difference between PPCs and Intels? Are at that place that many more Intels in apply, then that Apple has dropped support for their computers only five years erstwhile?
